CellCube Energy Storage GmbH, formerly named Enerox GmbH (ENX), is a vanadium flow battery company with over 20 years of research and product development experience, having transitioned from small systems to grid-scale solutions. With a track record of over 140 flow battery installations worldwide, CellCube Energy Storage GmbH has continuously refined its products over the years to provide a competitive, sustainable, and safer alternative to lithium-based energy storage systems.
A stack behavior model will be developed using the vanadium system for calibration and validation purposes. The new active materials will be subjected to experimental testing and modelling. Furthermore, a model predictive control framework will be developed based on the ENX model.
CellCube Energy Storage is interested in the development of a tunable chemistry-agnostic stack and system behavioral model that can predict scaling effects of present and experimental chemistry. It is vital to maintain a competitive advantage not only in the stack and system concept but also in the chemistry development.
