The team of Prof. Alexei Lapkin will contribute to development of a technology for high-throughput synthesis of organic active materials for flow batteries. This work links AI-based synthesis planning, with robotic flow-chemistry equipment and Bayesian optimisation of chemical synthesis robots.
PREDICTOR sets a new challenge to high-throughput synthesis field, where synthetic plans for a variety of molecules should be generated and tested very rapidly. This will challenge state-of-the-art in technology and AI-based methods in synthesis planning and will lead to advances in these fields.
